Ayden Hector

Today's average college student has a variety of difficulties and stresses that may make it difficult for them to do well in the classroom. This may be considerably harder for individuals participating in sports, volunteer work, or other commitments. Ayden Hector is one person who has succeeded in the classroom and on the football field while still finding time to give back to his community. Ayden has excelled in school since he was a small child. He spent four years as a student at Sammamish, Washington's Eastside Catholic High School. All four years he attended school, he was on the honor roll. He finally graduated in 2020 from a prestigious local high school. He engaged in several activities, and sports often volunteered, and acquired a well-rounded education while attending school. Additionally, he gained a foundational understanding of many Microsoft products, which later helped him in college. He showed athletic ability throughout high school and was often selected as an all-state performer. Ayden has established a reputation as a standout in both academics and athletics at Colorado State University. As a defensive back for the Rams, he has showcased the skills and determination that set him apart early in his career. Despite playing in just seven games, he earned all-conference honors, a reflection of his natural talent and steady work ethic. His ability to balance success in sports and school highlights his dedication to long-term achievement. The 2022 season further emphasized Hector’s impact on the field. He recorded 24 tackles and three interceptions, showing consistency and leadership on defense. His most notable performance came on October 7, when he collected eight tackles, intercepted a pass, and returned it for a touchdown. With three years of eligibility remaining, Hector is eager to continue growing with the Rams, using his experience and determination to help strengthen the team in future seasons. Beyond the football field, Ayden Hector has shown an enduring commitment to his community. He founded B.Box in high school to deliver birthday boxes to homeless teens, and he continues the initiative today through Colorado State’s campus food pantry. His service work illustrates the same leadership and dedication that define his athletic career.
