Colin Harrison

PhD engineer with a strong interest in sustainability, especially in the context of cities. Born in Sheffield, UK, studied Electrical Engineering at the Imperial College and Physics and the University of Munich. Worked at CERN building the SPS (1972-77) and EMI Research building the first clinical MRI, then thirty plus years doing any things with IBM Research in New York and Zurich, concluding with starting the Smarter Cities programme.
