Emergency Medicine Physician (Healthcare)
He/Him · Chico, California

Dr. Seth A. Eidemiller is a board-certified emergency physician with experience that began on a fourth-generation dairy farm in Idaho. Early on, he worked in wildfire suppression and construction, developing skills that would serve him in many environments. He earned degrees in International Studies and Spanish before returning to complete medical prerequisites and lab sciences. After completing medical school at the University of Nevada, Reno, he entered residency training in Fresno. Today, he serves as Vice Chair of the Chico Emergency Medicine Physician Group. His academic background includes two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Idaho. He strengthened his foundation in science at Boise State University, where he also worked as a lab instructor and in biomedical research focused on human health. These early roles helped him develop an approach based on observation and problem-solving. Before entering medicine, he gained practical experience as a wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service and as a construction worker. Working in restaurants taught him to handle high-pressure situations and meet the needs of customers efficiently, skills he would later bring to patient care. He entered the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2012 and graduated in 2016 after completing four years of training in clinics and hospitals. His residency in emergency medicine at UCSF-Fresno placed him in one of California’s busiest departments. There, he trained in airway management, resuscitation, line placement, and bedside ultrasound. He treated a wide range of patients, including those with trauma, sepsis, cardiac arrest, and psychiatric emergencies. After residency, he worked at Mercy Medical Center in Merced, expanding his emergency medicine experience. In 2020, he joined the Chico Emergency Medicine Physician Group and, by 2024, took on the role of Vice Chair, overseeing scheduling, operations, and quality measures. He continues to see patients and maintain his clinical skills through moonlighting at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. He is board-certified, maintains all required licenses, and is fluent in Spanish, enabling him to connect directly with many patients. Dr. Seth Eidemiller values giving back through community volunteering, stays active through cycling, enjoys home projects, and finds balance in travel and cooking. Dr. Eidemiller remains committed to patient care and ongoing learning.
