Roland Madore

Born in Hartford, CT, with B.A. degrees in English and American history in hand, I moved from Leominster, MA to Loveland, CO with my wife (a native) and first child in 1972. Scheduled to start work on a Master's degree at the University of Colorado, I instead accepted my first professional assignment as teacher of high school English (and related subjects) at Campion Academy, Colorado in 1972. With work on double Master's degrees in Comunication and Human Relations completed from the University of Northern Colorado in 1978, I accepted a position as English Department Chair at Windsor Middle School, Windsor, CO in 1979. After 35 years of service to Colorado's youth, I retired in May of 2007, and I am living a full life in Fort Collins, CO. As a parent, grandparent, activist, writer, tutor, and communications consultant this introvert nester is enjoying the good life...
