I am first and foremost a father, and an optimist. For 25 years, I served in several roles at State Farm Insurance. The past 12 years I was their futurist, using scenario planning. Along the way I was very fortunate to meet many very talented and innovative people. In 2007 I began to focus almost exclusively on transportation innovations, and then in 2009 co-founded an innovation practice. This past August, I left to launch two firms dedicated to the intersection of exponential technologies, consumer trends, risk management, and public policy. get2kno, Inc is one of those firms. I enjoy kayaking, climbing, fly fishing, photography, and am passionate about solving interesting challenges!
