snippets after sixty

I am a sixty something woman living with my husband and various cats in the small and vibrant town of Whitstable on the Kent coast of England. After a life changing experience in 2016 when I had a cardiac arrest, my husband and I decided we would retire early, thankfully we were in the fortunate position to be able to do so. Since then I have developed a passion for crochet and knitting along with other crafts including spinning my own yarn! I still have a lot to learn on the spinning front! When not pursuing these crafts I tend our garden with my husband. I love to spend time in nature whether that is in our garden, going for a walk or simply looking out of the window watching the clouds, birds and trees. I try to practice appreciation and thankfulness for each day! Life is a precious gift and we never know when it might be taken away from us. I hope to share my craft making and thoughts about life in this blog. Enjoy!
