From its inception, St. Mary's Health Wagon was more than just a clinic on wheels; it has expanded to include two stationary clinics, four mobile units, a full-service pharmacy, and a modern dental facility. As the oldest mobile free clinic in the nation, it has become an indispensable healthcare provider for southwestern Virginia, offering services through nearly 29,000 patient encounters in 2024 alone.
