I am a white, male, born in Cut Bank, Montana,USA DoB December 22, 1927 (12/22/27) I have been retired from my last job since January 1, 1990 I am a teacher and have been for my adult life. Instructor, USAirForce, 1946-1949 High School teacher of Speech and English Marion High School, Marion,Illinois, 1954-1955 Instructor of Speech at Souther Illinois University,Carbondale 1955-1959 Professor of Speech, Murray State University, Murray,KY 1961-1967 Professor of Communication, the University of Akron, Akron,OH 1967-1990 After retirement active in 5 organizations and/or projects and looking for a new career to transition out of retirement because of Fee's Rule #22 I was an active "cruiser" having gone on 22 cruises with my wife Ruth from 1977 through 2009. The last one was "the cruise to far" that often tells cruisers that it is time to end that form of traveling. I am about to continue on, alone, with train travel in the USA and Canada. I will be starting my last career shortly here in Akron. It is to early to give much more than its name and the fact that is being put in place by a team of really "great" people here at the University and in the City. The name is to be Ohio Broadcasting Archives and Museum.
