Josh Bartch

Josh Bartch is a consultant, entrepreneur, and investor with over 15 years of experience in international capital markets. Throughout his career, he has founded several companies and participated in transactions totaling over a billion dollars. His work centers on mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, financing, and reverse mergers, helping companies grow and prepare for entry into public markets. He currently leads MavDB Consulting, LLC as CEO and recently launched Blackstone Mercantile Group, a smart fund based in the Bahamas. These ventures reflect a consistent career focus on guiding businesses through complex financial strategies and connecting them with opportunities for long-term growth. His work has included engagements with companies listed on major global stock exchanges, including the NYSE, Nasdaq, LSE, Euronext, and the Canadian Securities Exchange. Josh Bartch began his journey in business during his time as a student at Colorado State University. While in school, he started his first company, which he sold. That early success laid the foundation for future ventures. In 2007, he co-founded a transcription platform that delivered professional services to the legal, academic, and medical fields. The business developed a reputation for its speed, accuracy, and wide customer base. In 2011, he launched a private investment and advisory firm that supported early and growth-stage companies. The firm specializes in capital structuring, strategic partnerships, and guiding companies toward public offerings. His role included advising clients across various industries and helping them develop actionable plans for expansion and funding. After relocating to Puerto Rico in 2020, he established MavDB Consulting, LLC. The firm offers strategic guidance in capital markets, investor relations, and international listing preparation. Through close collaboration with executive teams, he helps companies identify growth opportunities, align operations with market expectations, and build stronger investor communication. MavDB also takes a proactive role in business development, supporting client teams with strategies that open access to new markets and refine sales processes. In 2024, Josh Bartch founded Blackstone Mercantile Group Ltd SAC. The fund operates under the Smart Fund framework in the Bahamas and is designed for sophisticated investors seeking diversified exposure across global markets. With an emphasis on data-driven investment decisions and risk awareness, the fund aims to offer consistent performance while maintaining international compliance standards. Over the years, he has been involved in public listings, large-scale financial transactions, and complex deal structures. His experience navigating regulatory requirements and market conditions allows him to provide practical, informed advice to businesses at various stages of growth. In addition to his professional work, Josh Bartch is committed to philanthropic causes. He has supported ND Hope’s efforts to build schools in Africa and contributed to relief efforts in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria. He also donates regularly to organizations that serve veterans and first responders. In Puerto Rico, he supports Boxing Bullies, a nonprofit that helps empower young people through boxing by offering access to renovated gyms and mentorship opportunities. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and sees it as a personal challenge and a way to build strong relationships. He is also passionate about travel, using those experiences to learn from different cultures and apply those insights to life and business. Josh Bartch studied finance and general academics at Colorado State University and Metropolitan State University of Denver. He lives in Puerto Rico with his son Maverick, where he continues his work as an investor and advisor, helping companies succeed in the evolving global economy.
