Riddhima Penner

Hey there! I am Riddhima Nayyar. I am currently pursuing my Master's in English Literature. Reading books since I was a child, I discovered my passion for writing in the fourth grade when I wrote an essay for an assignment in school.  However, it was only after a few years that I realised that to me, writing was so much more than a means of getting validation. It was a way for me to reflect on myself and on the world around me and to create something that allowed me to make sense of everything I felt. I created this blog as a thirteen year-old who wished to connect with writers like herself. Although I would be lying if I say I still resonate with everything I've ever written and have never thought of deleting half the posts on this page, I feel they deserve their fair bit of space because it helps me look back and see how far I've come (it's quite far from the habit of using an unnecessarily complex vocabulary in my writing, to say the least). Apart from writing, I like to read, sketch eyes in the margins of my notebooks, paint, listen to music, gaze at the sky, and click pictures of random things I find beautiful.
